Do I have to pay to be a Worldpackers Host?

No. Worldpackers is free for hosts. “How do you make money, then?” you ask.

Our travelers pay us a confirmation and commitment fee in order to use Worldpackers. In order to apply and confirm trips and have access to our content, they have to be a Paid Member on the platform through our plans. 

Do I need to pay volunteers?

No. Worldpackers is a platform where people exchange their skills for accommodation, not an employment website. We recommend hosts not to pay volunteers, as this can be understood as an employer-worker relationship.
