If you confirmed a trip and didn’t show up for the position, then you are a 'no-show'.
This is a very difficult situation for the host, mainly because the host is counting on receiving the volunteers to help him out at his property. If the volunteer doesn’t turn up, he's going to be under-staffed and unable to run his business properly.
We understand that unexpected situations can force you to cancel or modify your trip. We recommend that you contact your host as soon as possible and see if you can change the original dates instead of canceling the entire trip. If that’s not possible, you must inform your host as soon as possible that you won’t be able to make the trip.
You can find the "Cancel Stay" button on the position application pages where travelers and hosts communicate.
If the traveler cancels the trip 7 days or less in advance, they will automatically receive a 1-star rating with the words "traveler canceled last-minute";
