How does it work?
Travelers make reservations directly with you, and when checking in, they must present their Worldpackers membership card (see example below) to get the 10% discount:
Frequently Asked Questions
1- Do I have to pay?
No. Because there are no OTAs involved, there are no hidden fees. Worldpackers does not make any money from this, all we ask is that you offer a 10% discount to our verified members.
2- Does everyone with a Worldpackers account get this discount?
No. Only verified members, who have paid for our Annual Membership Plan, are eligible for the discount.
3- How do I make sure that travelers are really verified members?
They have to show you their Worldpackers membership card, which only verified members have access to in our app.
4- How will guests contact me?
Through direct reservation channels. They will see your website you entered when registering on our site. Reservations made through OTAs are not eligible for the discount.
5- How will I know that travelers are coming from Worldpackers?
When checking in, guests must present their Worldpackers membership card to get the 10% discount.
6- Will reservations be made directly through my system?
Reservations will be made through direct channels, so there’s no intermediary or external reservation system. It is up to each hostel to manually book this reservation in their system.
7- How will travelers receive this offer?
When travelers become verified members, they automatically have access to all hostel discounts at Worldpackers.
8- Is the discount valid in busier seasons with higher prices?
Yes. Whenever there is a price increase, the discount must remain 10%, based on the current price.
9- What if I want to leave the Discount Program?
If a hostel decides to stop taking part in the program, they must notify Worldpackers via email at [email protected] at least 1 month in advance.
What do I have to do now?
Inform all of your hostel staff about the Worldpackers Discount Program, so everyone knows what it is, how it works, and what to do when you get reservations through it.
