The host’s calendar can be blocked because they may have already confirmed with another traveler for those dates or they may have closed their availability. See the image below:
- It could also be the minimum and maximum length of stay.
Some hosts need travelers to stay for specific periods of time to perform the activities (see the image below). So, make sure your application matches this requirement.
- Applications for 6 months or more in the future aren’t available
Don’t worry! You still can have the experience of your life! We don’t let travelers apply for dates 6 months in advance because hosts usually don’t know their availability or what kind of help they’ll need by then.
However, you can still start to plan your trip: save any experience you like in your Wishlist so you don’t forget to apply in the future.
You can also add a memo in your phone or calendar to remind you to check the position in some months!
