1st step – Creating the profile
The first thing you have to do is the registration. In case you haven’t done it yet, click here and watch the video. Follow the steps and make your profile with the following information:
- Name, type and address of your property;
- Phones, e-mail, and website for contact;
- Cool photos to make the travelers really eager to visit you (don’t forget to upload photos of the places where the travelers will sleep – that may bring more applications for your property);
- A profile photo of yours.
2nd step – Defining what you need
Select the functions that you need help with. It can be communication and marketing, entertainment, guest reception, and other activities.
In each one of these categories, you can specify the abilities you’re looking for in a volunteer, like photography, video making, bartender, organization of events, gardening and many other occupations.
3rd step – Creating your position(s)
Now it’s time to create your position! The position is like an announcement of your property on the website for the travelers. When travelers consult it, they will get to know your profile, and then apply to volunteer in your property, so it’s important to dedicate some time to make the position look cool!
Choose the function for your position, like remaking & decorating, communication & marketing, etc, and select the necessary abilities. After that, it’s time to add more details like hours of help per week, days off and minimum and maximum time of staying.
The next step is to select the benefits that you’ll offer to the volunteers: type of accommodation, meals and other treats like laundry and party discounts. It’s important to select only what you’ll really provide, because the volunteers count on what is described in the position.
Next, fill the requirements. Specify the necessary languages, the age rank you’re looking for, if you want to host only foreigners. Remember that the more requirements you establish, the less volunteers might see your position, so only add what you really need.
After that, add dates when you can’t host volunteers, and then write the title and description of your position. It’s extremely important to describe with details how the travelers can help you (:
