If you have purchased a plan and want to change to another, this is the right article for you! Just read the rules carefully, and if you meet the requirements, just contact us and we'll be happy to help with the change! :)
- Plan change: Trips to Pack or Pack Plus (in Solo or Couples/Friends version)
- Plan change: Trips, Pack or Pack Plus Solo to Couples/Friends version of the same plan
- Plan change: Trips, Pack or Pack Plus Couples/Friends to Solo version of the same plan
- Plan change: WP Academy to Pack or Pack Plus (in Couples/Friends or Solo version)
Some important rules to pay attention to:
- If the change is from a Couple/Friends plan to an individual one, the request must be made by the person who made the payment;
- If it's necessary to pay the price difference between the plans, it's important to note that this new payment doesn't support the use of promotional codes;
- Upgrades, where it's necessary to pay the difference between the plans, are only allowed if requested within 6 months after the plan purchase;
- It's not possible to change from the Worldpackers Pack or Worldpackers Pack Plus plan to the Worldpackers Trips or Worldpackers Academy plans;
- If the payment of the price difference between the plans is made when upgrading it, regardless of your current plan expiration date, your new one will be valid for 12 months, or more, if there is an ongoing promotion;
- Downgrades (e.g. change from Couples to Solo) can be requested at any time during the plan validity, and the plan expiration date will remain the same after the change;
- If you have paid the total value of the plan and the downgrade request is made within 30 days of the plan purchase, we can offer the difference between the plan's prices in credits on the platform. These credits will be added to your profile and have no expiration date, so you can use them whenever you want to purchase one of our plans in the future :)
Plan change: Trips to Pack or Pack Plus (in Solo or Couples/Friends version)
We understand if you have purchased the Trips Solo plan and also want to have access to the Worldpackers Academy content: so much incredible content is really irresistible! To upgrade is very simple:
Just get in touch with our team and we'll show you how to pay the difference in price between the plans, we'll even give you a special discount for already being a Worldpackers member! :D Remember that this type of upgrade is only allowed if requested within 6 months of purchasing the plan, right?
Important:
- If it's a change from Solo to Couples/Friends or vice versa, all applications and future trips will be canceled by the Worldpackers team;
- If the change is from a Couples/Friends plan, the upgrade request must be made by the person who paid for the plan.

The process to request a change of plan and travel as a couple is very simple:
1. Contact our team making the upgrade request;
2. Wait for our reply with the instructions on how to pay the price difference between the plans. 😊
By making this change, all future applications and trips will be canceled by the team. But don't worry, you can apply again with the Couples/Friends version plan :)
Plan change: Trips, Pack or Pack Plus Couples/Friends to Solo version of the same plan
If you want to change your Worldpackers plan from Couples/Friends to Solo version, please contact our team to request the change. Please note: this request must be made by the person who paid for the plan.
By making this change, all future applications and trips will be canceled by the team. But don't worry, you will be able to apply again with the Solo plan :)
Plan change: WP Academy to Pack or Pack Plus (in Couples/Friends or Solo version)
To make the change, just do the following:
1. Contact our support team making the change request;
2. Pay the price difference between the plans - the amount you paid for your WP Academy plan until you complete the value of the Pack or Pack Plus Plan, we still give a special discount of USD 20 for already being a Worldpackers member! :D
Important: The upgrade to the Pack or Pack Plus plan can only be done if requested within 6 months after the purchase of the WP Academy plan.
Oh, in case you want to confirm your plan and its expiration date to check the possibility of changing it, you can check this data in the home section of your profile, both in our web version and in the app, as shown in the image below:
