Worldpackers offers different Instant Booking cancellation conditions based on the trip start date and the chosen booking fee: Basic, Budget-Savvy, or Full Flex.

1. Cancellations requested within 7 days after purchase
In case you cancel your instantly booked trip within 7 days after purchase and you haven’t used Worldpackers services*, the full amount paid for the Booking Fee will be refunded on the same credit card used for purchase.
This cancellation condition overrides all other cancellation conditions listed below. To cancel your instantly booked trip, please get in touch with our Travel Specialists through our Help Center.
*Services include getting exclusive support from Worldpackers about the experience and/or attending the in-loco experience.
2. Cancellation rules by booking fee type

Basic Booking Fee Conditions
The Basic Fee does not include any type of refunds in case you cancel your trip.
You can cancel your instantly booked trip by reaching out to WP Travel Specialists through our Help Center, and our team will notify the host about your cancellation.
Please note that if your booked trip was scheduled to start in 7 days or less, your profile will automatically display a Last Minute Cancellation review.

Budget-Savvy Booking Fee Conditions
In case you cancel your trip up to 15 days before the trip start date:

- You are eligible for a 50% refund in Worldpackers credits, which are valid for unlimited time and can be used to pay for any of the Worldpackers products and services.
- You can cancel your instantly booked trip by reaching out to WP Travel Specialists through our Help Center, and 50% of the amount you’ve paid will be added to your WP wallet as credits;
- Our team will notify the host about your cancellation.
In case you cancel your trip within 14 days or less before the trip start date:

- You can cancel your instantly booked trip by reaching out to WP Travel Specialists through our Help Center;
- Our team will notify the host about your cancellation;
- Please note that if your booked trip was scheduled to start in 7 days or less, your profile will automatically display a Last Minute Cancellation review.

In case you cancel your trip up to 15 days before the trip start date:

- You are eligible for a 100% refund in Worldpackers credits, which are valid for unlimited time and can be used to pay for any of the Worldpackers products and services;
- You can cancel your instantly booked trip by reaching out to WP Travel Specialists through our Help Center, and the full amount you’ve paid will be added to your WP wallet as credits;
- Our team will notify the host about your cancellation.

3. No-shows and Last Minute Cancellations

Last Minute Cancellation
In addition to the cancellation rules per booking fee, in case you cancel your trip within 7 days or less before the trip start date, your profile will automatically present a Last Minute Cancellation review.
Please remember that cancellations must be made within the platform to be considered valid, and last minute cancellation reviews will not be deleted in case of cancellations made by any parties in other means of communication.

No-Show
In case you do not show up to the experience, refunds are not available in any format and your profile will automatically present a No-Show review.
Please remember that cancellations must be made within the platform to be considered valid, and no-show reviews will not be deleted in case of cancellations made by any parties in other means of communication. No-shows must not be given by hosts in case the volunteer arrives on the correct dates.
4. Refunds general conditions
Refunds are not available in any form in any of the following situations:
- After completing a trip;
- After a trip start date has passed;
- If the traveler requests a refund and doesn't answer Worldpackers to proceed with the trip cancellation;
- If the traveler deletes their account;
- If a traveler profile is deactivated according to Worldpackers' Policy for the Quality and Safety of Experiences.
It's important to reiterate that Worldpackers is not responsible for:
- Problems with passports and/or visas;
- Obligatory vaccines to enter your destination country;
- Availability and/or cost of transport to your host;
- Travel and/or health insurance.
5. Cancellations by Worldpackers or the Host
- Worldpackers reserves the right to cancel any trips in the face of extraordinary or unavoidable circumstances, and it is Worldpackers' responsibility to reach out to you with as far in advance as possible to present the options available.
- If either Worldpackers or the Host cancels your trip at any time, the full amount paid for the Booking Fee will be refunded based on your preference. In such cases, our Travel Specialists will get in touch with you by email.
- In case of any cancellations - whether requested by the traveler, the host, or Worldpackers at any time -, Worldpackers will not be liable for any refunds or compensation regarding extra costs incurred during the traveler’s trip, including, but not limited to, transportation tickets, documentation and visas, travel insurance, or any other related expenses.
