In order to help our hosts get their profiles' access back, here are some of the main problems and some quick & easy solutions if you're having trouble accessing your host account at Worldpackers:
- I forgot my password
- I forgot my email address
- I'm unable to access my account using the app
- I have an active host account but, when I log in, my profile shows up as inactive
- I have an active host account but, when I log in, my profile shows up as a traveler profile
I forgot my password
To re-define your password, please click on “Forgot password?” on the login page.
After that, you'll get an email with the instructions and a hyperlink to set a new password.
I forgot my email address
We ask our hosts two email addresses - one to log-in, and the other to receive our notifications by email. This is why it's important to double check if you're trying to log in with the right email address, alright? :)
If you don't remember or you lost access to the email address registered, please get in touch with us informing the following details to help us find your profile: your full name, possible email addresses used, and a screenshot of your profile on the platform (if you still have access to our mobile app).
I'm unable to access my account using the app
We have two apps: one for Travelers and another one for Hosts, available for IOS and Android. Make sure you're using the right app, because it's not possible to access the travelers' app with your host account's email and vice versa.
If you're using the right app and you're still unable to login, get in contact with us and informing your email and send us a screenshot of the error message.
I have an active host account but, when I log in, my profile shows up as inactive
This can happen if you created a new host account by mistake. Please check your login email to make sure you're trying to access your active account at Worldpackers using the right one. In this case, you can ask our team to delete the profile created by mistake so you don't face this problem again! :)
This can also happen when your host profile gets rejected in our Approval Process or deactivated due to inactivity or for not following our Policies for the Quality and Safety of the Experiences. In these cases, please check your email - including the spam box - to find the message sent by our team.
I have an active host account but, when I log in, my profile shows up as a traveler profile
Make sure you are not logging in using Facebook or an email address you previously used in a traveler acount. It's not possible to use the same email address to both your host and traveler accounts.
