Reviews are super important to share your opinion and impressions about the volunteers you host, this way the rest of our community can understand better how your experience with that traveler was.

How does the review process work?
In order for reviews to be honest and transparent, both the host and the volunteer will have 15 days to write the review after the departure date. The comment will only be visible on the profiles when both write or 15 days after the end of the experience.
We understand that experiences are subjective, leading to different perspectives. Therefore, we ask that everyone in our community be open to giving and receiving feedback with empathy. For this reason, we also always try to understand the two sides involved. In addition, travelers and hosts have the right to respond to each other's review to tell their own version of the facts.
I don't agree with the review I received. Is it possible to delete it?
We only delete reviews that are not in accordance with our policies or in extreme cases.
To avoid any problems, it is essential to follow our Review Policy:
- Be polite and keep a clean vocabulary. We don't tolerate aggressive comments or direct offenses to someone.
- Don't make any accusation in your review. You don't want to expose someone if you don't have concrete proof against them.
If your review doesn't follow these recommendations, we can delete it and get in touch to help you write a new one that’s in accordance with our policies.
Important: There’s only one chance to rewrite a review once it has been deleted, stay tuned for our tips on how to share your experiences with the rest of the community. Reviews should be a space for personal recommendations and not for accusations and offenses.
Can I edit my reviews?
The reviews cannot be edited, except in cases of grammatical errors, inconsistent ratings (ex.: number of stars differing from the feedback), or incomplete reviews (ex: if the traveler or host sends the review before finishing it).
I've lost the deadline to leave a review. Can I still leave it to the traveler?
Is important to remember that, after the 15-days period, making the evaluation is no longer possible. We always value a fair community, so, unfortunately, we don’t make any exceptions for reviews to be made after the deadline. You can see more information about our evaluation process here.
In case you had any bad experience, you can always send our team a private message or report the situation, this way we can help you at that moment. Once the experience is over, take a few minutes to share it with other hosts and travelers. Reviews are an essential part of our Travelers Deactivation Policy that helps us regulate our community.
